How to activate AquaLink?
What is AquaLink?
Our AquaLink feature simplifies the charging process by allowing you to effortlessly start and stop charging. All you need to do is plug in to begin charging and unplug to stop. You won't have to go through the hassle of initiating a charge using Apps, RFID tags, or payment cards.
AquaLink has the capability to identify compatible vehicles when they connect to our network. Once your vehicle is identified as compatible you can associate it with your Aqua account so that subsequent charge sessions are automatically billed to your account.
How do I know if my vehicle is compatible?
If you're unsure whether your vehicle is compatible, you can easily check by charging it twice on our charge stations. After your second charging session, if your boat is compatible, it will be displayed on the "Register Vehicle" page. Please note that the test sessions only take a minute or so, so the entire process of charging twice should not exceed 5 minutes.
Activating AquaLink is extremely simple, just follow a few steps and you'll be ready for a smooth charging experience.
Setting up AquaLink
1. Ensure you have a registered account on the Aqua App before proceeding. If you already have an account with us proceed to Step 2.

2. To enable our system to detect your Vehicle's details, you need to initiate two charge sessions on your Vehicle via the Aqua App or an Aqua RFID tag on a charge station where the AquaLink feature has been enabled.
To see which charge stations have AquaLink turned on, click on one of the charging pins on our map and besides its location you will see the AQUA LINK icon.

3. Once you have successfully completed two charge sessions, open the Aqua App and click on the "Profile" button

4. From there, click "AquaLink"

5. Then click "Register Vehicle" and the app will show your Detected Vehicle based on your two recent charge sessions.

6. Click on one of the "Detected Vehicles" and choose "Add to Account"
If your vehicle failed to appear on this screen then this unfortunately means that your vehicle is not compatible and you will have to switch to using the Aqua App, RFID tag or your contactless payment card.

7. On the next screen, you can assign a Name to your Vehicle, specify the Battery Size and indicate the Vehicle Type. Don't forget to click "Save " to finalise the registration process.

That's it! You are now set to enjoy a seamless charging experience with AquaLink.
Caveats
1. It is important to note that AquaLink exclusively allows charging through a CCS connector and does not support AC charging.
2. AquaLink is enabled on most but not all of our charge stations, to see which charge stations have AquaLink turned on, click on one of the charging pins on our map and besides its location you will see the AquaLink icon.
